SIlhouette Alta 3D Printer
The Silhouette Alta is a 3D desktop printer which allows us to take our designs to the next level by making them truly 3D.
Instead of cutting 2D materials, like vinyl and paper, and then assembling them afterwards to make them 3D, you can print three-dimensional designs layer by layer from the bottom up.
The Silhouette Alta uses PLA filaments a very common plastic that is derived from renewable sources, and is biodegradable
Silhouette 3D is unusual (and amazing!) because you can both create and slice your design within the same software program. Most other 3D printers will have you working with one software program for designing and another one for slicing.
The Silhouette Alta comes pre-calibrated and pre-assembled.
Prints at fast and slow speeds, prints at low and high temperatures and can print up to 120 mm tall and 116 mm wide.
