Create custom-coloured gel stains with DecoArt Americana Additions Make It Stain. This versatile medium transforms Americana Acrylic paints into a smooth, high-performance gel stain that adds vibrant colour while allowing the natural beauty of wood grain to show through. Mix and match your favourite acrylic colours to create personalised stains for furniture, woodworking and decorative projects.
The gel formula glides on smoothly without the excessive running or dripping associated with traditional stains, giving you greater control over application and transparency. It dries faster than standard stains while allowing time to apply and wipe back the colour. Make It Stain can also be applied over acrylic-painted surfaces, making it ideal for creating faux wood-grain effects with a graining tool, even on non-wood surfaces.
