Matisse Studio Acrylic Paint 120ml - Fluro Orange

Fluro Orange (Series 1) is an electric, high-impact acrylic colour that delivers intense vibrancy and a dramatic UV-reactive glow. Manufactured with fluorescent dye encapsulated in a polymer matrix, this semi-transparent paint absorbs UV light and re-emits it in the visible spectrum, making it appear brighter than standard pigments, especially under blacklight.

Because fluorescent pigments are not lightfast, Fluro Orange is best suited for temporary work, interior displays, or art that’s out of direct sunlight. For optimal brilliance, apply it over a bright white base, which maximizes its glowing effect. Avoid layering over dark tones, as transparency may diminish the intensity.

To prolong its appearance, a coat of MM33 UV Conservation Varnish can be used to reduce fading. However, be aware that this protective layer will block UV light, which also eliminates the signature fluorescent glow.
