Permanent Light Violet (PV23 / PW6) is a Series 1 pastel violet acrylic colour from the Matisse Studio range, formulated with Carbazole Dioxazine (PV23) and Titanium Dioxide (PW6). This gentle, opaque violet offers more than just subtlety it’s a powerful mixing tool, ideal for artists who seek softness without sacrificing vibrancy.

While it excels in bold graphic work, its real magic lies in its ability to act as a refined off-white. Unlike pure Titanium White, which can flatten colour intensity, Permanent Light Violet preserves chromatic depth while delicately lightening and modifying tones. It’s especially suited for achieving nuanced transitions, glowing highlights, and atmospheric effects.
